Spring Art Exhibitions 2020

- Fotografiska (photography)- Two ongoing exhibitions: Hubble- A journey through time and space (until May 17th) and Vogue, the Arab Issue (until June 7th). Then they have three upcoming exhibitions this season: Rubbish, Dipping Sauce, Grass, Peonie, Bum (March 13th to May 31st), Color Lehmitz (March 13th to May 31st) and Generation Wealth (March 20th to May 17th).

Photo by Anna Danielsson. - National (classic art and design)- The two main exhibitions this season are Iconic Works (until May 17th) and The Curator's Bookcase (until June 28th). Don't forget their permanent collections of art and design (with free entrance).
- Moderna (modern art)- Their ongoing exhibition is Walid Raad: Let's be honest, the weather helped (until May 10th) and their upcoming exhibition is John Baldessari (March 21st to Aug 16th). Don't miss a visit to their permanent collection (with free entrance).
- ArkDes (architecture and design)- Just a couple of weeks left for Young Swedish Design 2020 (until Mar22nd). Two upcoming exhibitions are Weird Senastion Feels Good (Apr 8th to Aug 16th) and Kiruna Forever (Apr 24th to Aug 31st).

Press image from Millesgården. - Millesgården (sculpture and mixed art)- Most people come to visit their beautiful sculpture gardens featuring the work of Carl Milles, but they also have an art gallery where they have temporary exhibitions. This season: Gustaf Tenggren- Folk Tales & Disney (until May 31st).
- Thielska Galleriet (Scandinavian fine art)- One of the highlights of this museum is their permanent collection of Scandinavian Masters like Carl Larsson, Edvard Munch, Eugene Jansson and more. But they also have temporary exhibitions. This season: The Experimental Self- Edvard Munch's Photography (until May 31st) and Hjalmar Söderberg and the arts (until Sept 20th).
- Prins Eugen Waldemarsudde (Scandinavian fine art)- besides Prince Eugen's own art collection, home, studio and gardens, you will also find temporary exhibitions like Silent Beauty - Nordic and east Asian Interaction (until May 31st) and Lena Cronqvist (until Sep 27th).

Photo by Jean-Baptiste Béranger. - Artipelag (mixed art in archipelago setting)- Besides their permanent Sculpture in Nature exhibition, they also have two ongoing temporary exhibitions: Jan Håfström- the White Bus (until march 18th) and Signature Women (until Sept 27th).
- Liljevalchs (contemporary art)- Just a couple of weeks left of their Spring Salon (until March 22nd).
- Bonniers Konsthall (contemporary art)- A few current exhibitions, including Cooking Sections.. (until April 19th) and Artists' Film International 2020 (until Apr 5th). Coming soon... Éva Mag (April 22nd to June 14th).
- Sven-Harrys Konstmuseum (mixed art)- Art in Fashion will be running all spring (until May 31st). Don't miss a visit to the rooftop terrace and their permanent collection as well.
- Etnografiska (world cultures)- Generally more of a cultural museum, but with some art exhibits from time to time, like this season's A Way Away, looking at the photographs taken from Swedes travelling the world over the past 150 years (until May 24th).
