Entrance with "Mar Whispering" |
I was out last night with my Concierge colleagues from
Les Clefs d'Or Sweden, invited for dinner at the
Dining Room in the At Six hotel. While their other restaurant,
Tak, on the top floor is more well known to visitors and locals alike (read
my blog article from my visit to Tak a couple of years ago), they also have a Dining Room on the first floor, open for breakfast, lunch (weekdays) and dinner. The cuisine is international and contemporary, with seasonal ingredients.

Appetizer duo |
After some creative drinks and snacks in their
Cocktail Bar, we moved to the Dining Room where we had a delicious dinner... starting with a duo of appetizers: bleak roe with smoked crème fraiche and carrots with truffles and smoked almonds. This was followed by blackened lamb tartar with espelette pepper and fried onions and the main course of seared cod with broccolini and coriander. The meal ended with dessert... lingonberry sorbet with salted caramel and juniper meringue. Tasty and with nice wine pairings.

Main course |
The restaurant is located in the downtown area, close to the park Kungsträdgården. Upon entering the building, the restaurant is just up the stairs past the Jaume Plensa sculpture "Mar Whispering". The easiest way to get there from Hotel Rival is either by subway (red line, three stops to T-Centralen, exit to Sergels Torg) or else it is just an 8-10 minute taxi ride.
